GIRLS TRIP TO DENVER, COLORADO
Recently, I went on a week-long girls trip to Denver, Colorado, with a few of my gal pals. My friend Elise chose Denver as her location to throw her bachelorette party, and we girls came from all over the country to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. I have to say that I was proud of myself for not quoting the movie Bridesmaids the whole time. *pats self on the back*
I shared with you what I packed and all my Denver, Colorado trip essentials, but I also wanted to tell you about all the delightful places we went to while we were there.
For starters, we stayed at the cutest AirBnB. Located in the charming neighborhood LoHi, this apartment was within walking distance to downtown, was ABOVE A DELI, and was full of bright and bubbly decor. What more could you ask for?
Another highlight of our trip was our visit to Woodhouse Spa.We spent a good portion of one afternoon sipping mimosa in their relaxation room, taking turns getting massages and mani/pedis. One thing that I particularly liked about this place, besides the beautiful atmosphere, were the women that work there. Spas can be on the pretentious side, but the women that did our nails were sweet, and we were all cracking each other up.
Where to eat
Separate from my girls trip, I got to spend some time up in the Rocky Mountains at Keystone Ski Resort. Do I ski? No. Do I snowboard? No. What I did do, and I highly suggest for anyone, is go on their tubing course! They have a section of the resort dedicated to just tubing! I was like an excited little kid as I took the gondola up the mountain to tubing area. The tubing course has several lanes that resort employees push or spin you down. Once I was down the slope, there was moving walkway that carried me back up the hill (if only that were the case everywhere I went).
